Social Distancing

In order to protect our customers, staff and suppliers we have adopted the following guidelines to ensure the safest possible environment during your visit to The Chequers.

What to expect during your visit?

  1. We have designated entrance and exit doors to provide a flow of traffic through the building and to ensure social distances are maintained, please take note of the signage or ask a member of staff if you are unsure.
  2. We will have several hand sanitiser stations, please make use of them.
  3. On entering the building, please wait behind the sign to be seated at your table.
  4. All our menus will be laminated or in plastic sleeves to enable them to be sanitised between use.
  5. When you are ready we will take your order or if seated outside you will need to come to the order point, maintaining social distancing rules.
  6. Everything you need will be delivered to the end of your table, where you will be able to help yourself.
  7. Whilst we will be accepting cash, when it is time to pay please use card if possible.

As we will not be using all our table’s in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we advise advanced booking to avoid disappointment. Bookings for outside tables are now also being taken.

These guidelines have been put in place to ensure that you can enjoy your visit to The Chequers in the safest way possible, please help us to keep everyone safe by respectfully adhering to them.
